How many of you were privilege to have an extended weekend due to President's Day? I count myself amongst the ranks for having a little extra R&R with DH. Not only did he have the Federal holiday off, but he had Friday off. That so rocks!
Today DH's Friday to work and this week has been a long week for me. I, for one, am more than ready that it is Friday. Let's kick off the weekend with some giggles!

One would think with the countless photographers out there, you would get some hilarious not-so-presidental moments. This leaves me to believe truly embarrassing pictures are removed from the net. What do you think?
I'm a bit curious to find this out for myself. Part of me says, anyone who is at least as old as I am will know the answer to this question, but I'm gonna ask anyhow.

I hope someone answers your question -- being Canadian I have no idea why you have a President's Day.
even stranger, we don't have a day to celebrate our Prime Minister....but we do Victoria's Day which originally was created to celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday. Instead of changing the date according to each new reigning Monarch's actual birthday: we just use this date to celebrate the Queen.
Um? Didn't we separate from England too? LOL
Although, of course no one really minds since you do get a 3 day weekend. It's also referred to as May 2-4 weekend.... the fact that there are 24 beers in a case is purely coincidental. :)

Les, I do know the reason why we celebrate President's Day. I just wanted to see, if anyone else knew. No one ever complains about getting an extended holiday weekend. I know I love it!
